Ellie's shift had been uneventful, though at this point, she was used to the lapses of inactivity during her time in the clinic. Shed just been putting away a file of one of her patients when she heard the knock. Placing the folder carefully away, she turned and offered the woman a smile.

"That's me. Well, one of them, but the other isn't on duty right now," she replied lightly, motioning to her to come in. "What can I do for you?"
