"I always keep going," she agrees, staring into space for a moment before she remembers to bring herself back into it, shaking her head. She doesn't apologize, namely because she's not truly that sorry. She reaches out for her drink and takes it back, using the burn and the heat coiling in her stomach as courage. "Are you staying? The night, that is. Not that anything is going to happen," she clarifies, pointing a finger in his direction. "I just want to know if I should expect more than one drooling, heavy-breathing object in bed."
